The Kincentric Leadership Benchmarking Tool
This tool is for anyone seeking to align their work more closely with the living Earth. It's designed primarily for organisations, but can also be used by communities, teams, networks, families and individuals. Whether you are just beginning or deeply immersed in kincentric practice, it is an invitation to explore, reflect, and strengthen how you show up as part of the web of life.
Formatted as a self-assessment survey, the tool takes you through 77 actionable indicators, each connected to a key capacity for kincentric leaders, and rooted in one of the 8 core principles of Kincentric Leadership - Sacredness, Animacy & Intelligence, Interdependence, Kinship, Justice & Equity, Diversity & Cocreation, Belonging & Place, and Unravelling. Each indicator also has a multitude of examples to guide your process as you assess where on a scale from 'not applicable' to 'embodied and influential' you place yourself. To read more about the framework of principles and capacities that structure the tool, visit the Patterns of Kinship or read the Handbook for Kincentric Leaders, where they are described in detail. You can use this tool to:
Learn about how the principles of kincentric leadership translate into your context
Spark reflection and conversation
Track your degree of implementation of kincentric principles over time
Identify gaps, generate new ideas, and set shared intentions and goals
Celebrate strengths, learn from and inspire others by making your results public
Deepen your leadership as part of a planetary shift toward kinship
You can keep your results private or share them to connect with people and organisations on their own kincentric path. You can also explore the results of other organisations. Wherever you begin, the tool can help you, your organisation or community see where you are, celebrate your steps, and imagine what’s possible next. We hope you’ll join us, and let your own journey help inspire the larger kincentric movement.

The handbook is designed to inspire transformation and be a practical map of how to lead from within the wider web of life. However, we know that real change happens in relationship, over time. It takes sustained intention, the right container, shared commitment, and structures of accountability.
There are a range of ways we can help you take the next step. Whether you're a large NGO, a small business, a grassroots collective, a network or a place-based community, we are here to walk alongside you as you weave kincentric principles into your unique context.
